Here are some pictures of limit and home switch mounting on various people's Zen Toolworks machines. The pictures were linked to from the Zen Toolworks Flickr Group where you can find lots of other pictures (and a few videos) of Zen Toolworks machines.

Pushbutton switches

These switches are very small and are mounted close the stepper. They are inserted into a 7mm hole. Most of them are inline with the screws that hold the stepper on. The Z-axis had to be positioned a little bit differently because of the tight space. Also the bolts on the anti-backlash nuts had to be reversed from the method in the instructions to allow the buttons to make contact before the bolts did. The switches are available from Radio Shack (275-1571) and Jameco (315643).
